Clark Gardens Celebration of Lights

What a fun, cold time we all had at the Celebration of Lights. Although I went with high expectations, it was still a blast. The "snow" was an 8x8 box of grated soap which served it's purpose for a few children at a time. The kids got to visit Santa again but this time it was done without tears. They even gave him a big bear hug! The trains were a big hit. The boys loved watching them. they even got to see one of Santa's reindeer! These are great memories the boys got to share with their cousins, Madeleine and Meadow!

Megan Graduation

December 13th we celebrated an awesome accomplishment by my sister. She was the first graduating class of Texas A&M Law School!! It's been a long road with lots of support by her family and friends but she did it and we were all there to celebrate!

"ICE days"

Just a week after enjoying our Thanksgiving break, we were hit with an ice storm which shut down everything. The ice was 2+ inches thick which made commuting dangerous. School closed Friday and didn't open back up till Wednesday! I loved the time at home. The fire was constantly going, we would enjoy some play time outside and Pinterest activities were in full swing! I sure hope we get hit with another storm before winter is over but next time snow and it must hit on a school day!

Bundled up by the fire post ice play!

Zane came to visit during our days off.

Thanksgiving Week Happenings

I loved Thanksgiving week this year. Todd took the week off so we were all home enjoying time together.

The week started with Thanksgiving at my parents. This picture was the only one I got when Austin fell asleep after running and playing all day with no nap. It doesn't happen very often but when it does he crashes!

The following day we delivered our Operation Christmas Child box to the church. This was our first year to participate and it was a lot of fun. The boys got to pick the sex and age of the child. They picked a girl 2-4 years old! They picked a Barbie, coloring book, crayons, brush, hair clips, socks, panties...I hope she loved opening all her goodies!

Between all these festivities, Parker, Austin and Todd all had a stomach virus that only lasted 24hrs but not fun.

Next, we were off to Mt. Pleasant Wednesday for Thanksgiving with Todd's family. During the first night there, I became the lucky person to finally get the stomach bug so I spent most of my Thanksgiving in bed.

The boys had a lot of fun riding the "orange thing", tractor and fishing with their daddy, Uncle Lance and Gaga.

Cuddled on their pallet ready for bed.

Nap Time!!
Saturday night we were back in Weatherford and attended the Christmas tree lighting. There were a few activities going on around the square.

Here Austin willingly jumped up in the chair, told the girl what he wanted painted on his cheek and sat there patiently waiting. He loved his snowman she painted!

ICE at Gaylord

We had a fun cold time at ICE this year. I forget how cold it really is in there. Madeleine and Meadow loved the ice slides way more than the boys. Parker cried most of the time because he was cold and Austin was too cold to do anything! I love the aw of everything created from ice. It's amazing what an art it is.

Our mouths and tummy's were quickly warmed up with Esparza's Mexican food after!!

Thanksgiving Feasts at School

I don't remember much from this day except being super nervous about my first class party at Couts. I quickly got a picture of the boys dressed up that morning and the rest is a blur!

Visiting Santa

The boys visited Santa early this year. He was a Razzberry Lane here in Fort Worth. The boys were very excited to tell him what they wanted...Parker wanted a skateboard and Austin Choochoo trains. They were both skeptical about him at first but Parker sat in his lap and Austin, I dropped him in his lap quick and ran! The picture is priceless and also our Christmas card this year!
