The Going Home Outfit

It has been a real challenge for Todd and I to find the PERFECT going home outfit for Baby Dehls. Since we don't know the sex of the baby we had to buy both a boy and girl outfit. We also wanted the old fashion look. This was something our parents did and that we wanted to do also. Besides the small boutiques around town, Dillards was the only store we found that carried what we were looking for. Todd picked the boy outfit out at Dillards and we decided to use my going home outfit for a girl. Here are pictures of the sweet outfits!

Angels Among Us

Baby Dehls and the rest of the Dehls family lost a loved one today. Todd's uncle Ralph went to be with the Lord after a 2 year battle with liver cancer. He was a very special person and will be greatly missed. I know he was excited about the babies arrival. He will now be the baby's angel, watching over him/her everyday with all the other angels. We love you and miss you Ralph. Our thoughts and prayers are with Juanda.

The Count Down..

I can't believe it's already time...I begin my weekly appointments this week! The Dr says that everything still lokos good and that the baby is growing good. We will have our last sonogram on in just two weeks. Todd and I are very excited and anxious about the babies arrival! I sure hopes the baby stays put until atleast March 1st. I am a planner and have way too much going between now and then!

The babies room is not ready at all and won't be until after arrival. We will still need to paint and put the furniture together. Thank goodness for the bassinet my sister gave me!

Get ready world because you have a crazy little one on the way!

Baby Showers...

This past week I received two Beautiful invitations to my baby showers! I can't wait to celebrate the upcoming birth of the baby with my family and friends! Only 41 more days and counting...

A Letter to the Baby!

Dear Baby Dehls,

Your daddy and I are so excited for your arrival. Your arrival is only weeks away! The day we found out that I was pregnant was a day I will never forget. It was Wednesday, July 1st..just days after your uncle Ryan's wedding. Every thought possible was running through our heads...will it be a boy? girl? due date? names? We had to pick the perfect name for our perfect little baby, so you will either be Parker Wayne or Rylee Jordan! Your nursery may not be ready when you get home but we will be as ready as we can be. We will give you all our love and care for you the best we can. You have a lot of family to meet when you arrive also. They are all very excited for your arrival. Your cousin Meadow has already given you kisses through my belly!

You haven't made me have many cravings...mostly just cereal! I usually eat it twice a day..my favorites are Special K with strawberries or yogurt and Raisin Bran with extra Raisins. Daddy hasn't had to go on any crazy food runs yet! You seem to like music and books...daddy has been reading to you at night and I play music for you at work all day..it really gets you kicking!

Daddy has high hopes of you playing football for OU one day if your a boy and I would love for you to play volleyball if your a girl! We are a family that loves our sports...especially Mimi! She loves her Dallas Mavericks. I can't wait to sit in the stands at your game or audience at your dance recital to support you in what ever your heart desires!

"She's Nesting"

I started a cleaning out project this past Wednesday and just finished today. Todd likes to tell everyone I'm nesting! I threw away a lot but also got things organized. The baby's toys and clothes that we have so far are divided by size and age! The closets are all in order and the Christmas decorations are put away...the house is clean and laundry is put away. I feel like my life is in order again until a baby shower of course! Then I have a whole new organization project. I love being organized..I would lose my sanity with out it. I know I'm a little crazy but Todd loves me for it!
