End of First Trimester..Woohoo!

Yesterday I was officially 13 weeks and now onto my 14th week. Baby Dehls has started taking some of my oxygen and I am exhausted all the time now. I feel so bad for Todd because I walk in the door, eat dinner and on to bed.... I guess after a 10 hour work day anyone would be exhausted! Friday's a absolutely fabulous though because I am off! Hopefully in a week or 2 I will have my energy back!

Todd finished paining the bead board and trim in the baby's room! It is a creamy white that my mom picked out. It is going to go great with the new bedding I picked out! The walls will either be petal pink for a girl or a light green for a boy! I am dead set on this bedding..thanks to my friend Jana in NJ telling me that Restoration Hardware sells baby stuff! Todd is going to take a break from working on the room until he puts up the crown molding! Can't wait! For now we are just counting our blessings and our little blessing that is on it's way!

I already know that motherhood is going to be real challenging. I listen to 103.7 in the morning and the last couple weeks have been about going back to school and parenting. You really have to think about what is best for your baby especially as they are growing older and you have to start disciplining. Hundreds of things run through my head a day...what to do in certain situations? Am I going to be a good parent? All I know is that I have to put it in God's hands and trust that he will guide me and make me a good parent.

2nd Appointment @ 12 weeks

I had my second dr. appointment this morning and everything is going well. I got to hear the baby's heart beat and it is very strong! I go back September 17 for the same check up appointment and then again at 20 weeks! At my 20 week appointment I will finally get another sonogram!!!

Last night Todd took pictures of the Baby Bump! It is slowly forming but definitely there.




The baby's room is almost ready to paint! Todd and our great neighbor Don put up the chairrailing today. Todd is going to be a busy man when the baby comes! Actually I have recruited my mom and sister to get the baby's room decorated once the baby comes. Thanks guys!

We have picked out a boys name and a girls name. Parker Wayne Dehls for a boy and Rylee Jordan Dehls if it's a girl! I have already started my girl folder and my boy folder just like my sister did...

11 weeks!

I am 11 weeks today! I can't believe it. It has been a really good day too! I haven't been sick yet! I don't have much to write except that I am feeling better.

My 2nd appointment is next Tuesday morning! Hopefully we will get another sonogram of the growing baby.

Todd is priming the walls for when we actually get to paint when the baby comes....I hate painting. Well maybe it hates me because it get it EVERYWHERE!

I'm not really having any cravings....except last night! SNO-CONES! Yum....it was sooooo good!

Baby Room

So, Todd and I really didn't have much going this weekend so we got started on the baby's room! We are putting bead board around the bottom with a chair rail to cap it off. That will be painted taupe! The walls will either be painted green or a deep red depending on the sex of the baby upon it's arrival! Just adding to the anticipation!
