OMG he is asleep in his crib!
Sucking...He is very much a sucker we have found out. The other day when we all woke up, he had a huge red mark on his arm. It bothered me all day because I thought I had accidentally done something in the night to hurt him. At lunch that day with people from work, Staci mentioned that it looked like a hickey. It all made sense then. He had sucked his arm so had that he gave himself a hickey for the 2nd time. I offer him the pacifier when he does this but he prefers his arm or fist...crazy kid! We have found that he only likes his pacifier when he has a tummy ache which I am very grateful for. Here is a look at his poor arm...
This past week Parker's medicine was changed to Prevacid because the Zantac just wasn't doing the trick for his Acid Reflux. It was like a light switch after 24 hrs of him being on the medicine. He was even more happy then before...smiling BIG smiles and Cooing even more!! We have found that a bath is one of Parker's favorite things. I can take him in the bathroom when he is screaming and turn the water on and he will stop crying. He is so relaxed in the water. This will make our trip to the beach much more enjoyable knowing he likes the water!!!

Breaking the Rules
1. Letting him sleep in our bed
2. Use a pacifier
3. Using most any diaper not just Huggies Pure and Natural
4. Letting him sleep on his tummy not his back
I am sure there are a lot more but the biggest one was him sleeping in our bed. I have found it even easier to let him sleep with me when Todd is at work. This leaves Todd in the guest bedroom most nights..poor guy. I guess I have learned that there really isn't a right or wrong way to do things but rather what ever works for you and your baby DO IT! So any expecting mom's reading this, don't get set on a certain way of doing things before the baby comes because that may not work for your baby. Grow with your baby and learn what he or she may like and it will make both of your lives better.
Here are some things I know my little Mighty Mouse loves...
1. To cuddle
2. To ride in the car
3. Kisses!
4. To take it all in...especially when he is outside
I am enjoying every minute right now...rules are for later in his life!
